IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TEAM AND CLUB OFFICIALS
The league handbook containing rules and notes for guidance, as well as a list of league officials, referees and their match fees, can be downloaded from the forms and documents section of the Stockport Metro JFL home page.
It is important that KO times, ground locations and Managers contact details are entered on the website. Failure to do so will result in the league being unable to allocate referees and the Managers being unable to send and receive messages.
PRE –MATCH ARRANGEMENTS
Although details of all matches are shown on the website, the HOME team manager MUST STILL contact the away team manager and any league appointed referee, to confirm the match day arrangements.
These arrangements should be made by phone in the first instance and then confirmed by no later than Wednesday evening each week, via the match day confirmations section on the home teams fixture details screen. This information then provides a clear audit trail in the event of any dispute.
If the league has not appointed a referee, it is the home team's responsibility to provide a referee. It is also the home team's responsibility to provide designated spectator areas in accordance with the FA RESPECT programme and team managers, coaches and substitutes must be on the opposite side from the spectators
For Stockport based teams, please check the council website on a Friday Morning for details of any pitch cancellations. The website address is as follows:
Please bear in mind that not all pitches in this league are under the control of SMBC and you must check with your opposition before telling your players the game is off.
Requests for postponements, reversing of fixtures, or changes to kick off time for any match, including County Cup matches, must be submitted without delay, at least 14 days prior to the date of the fixture.
POSTPONEMENT REQUESTS MUST BE MADE USING THE POSTPONEMENT REQUEST FORM WHICH CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE “FORMS AND DOCUMENTS” SECTION OF THE STOCPORT METRO JFL HOME PAGE
Postponements will not be granted under any circumstances if the request for the postponement is submitted with less than 72 hours notice prior to the match kick-off time
It is the home team’s responsibility to provide a match card at all games and to ensure that this card is signed by all players, team officials and the referee. The completed match card must be received by your Divisional Secretary within FOUR days of the match being played.
BOTH home and away team managers also need to enter their results on the website by no later than 12:00 noon on the Monday following their weekend game. These results should be entered via your team fixture details screen and this includes when a game is not played for any reason.
LEAGUE TABLES ARE AUTOMATICALLY PUBLISHED WHEN ALL RESULTS FOR A DIVISION ARE ENTERED.
IF ALL RESULTS ARE NOT ENTERED, THEN TABLES CAN ONLY PUBLISHED, ONCE MISSING RESULTS ARE INVESTIGATED BY DIVISIONAL SECRETARIES

NOTIFICATION OF UNPLAYED MATCHES
