Echo League Help Page

1. ENTERING RESULTS

 

ENTERING RESULTS INFORMATION

  • Log in to The Echo Website using your username and password

  • In the left hand Column search for Club (Your Club) and click to enter
  • In the 2012/13 Teams section click on your Team
  • In the Navigation Bar Section click on Fixtures
  • Click on the fixture you want to enter the result for
  • click on the details tab which is at the right hand side of each fixture
  • You are now in the fixtures info page and near the bottom the Results Submission section
  • you can now submit all the scores and sportsmanship along with referees mark for your game and click submit match card when finished

 

2. ENTERING MANAGERS DETAILS

1. Log in as secretary and enter your clubs page
2. Scroll down left hand column and select team you need to enter managers details to
3. Click on Team Officials in the left hand column
4. There is a line of print in blue with the first option "DETAILS" click on this
5. Enter your new managers email address in the box provided and submit
6. You are now asked for First and Last names to be entered into the boxes provided along with a phone number (You may leave all other boxes empty)

Once this has been submitted a unique password will be sent to the email address you provided for the manager and he will now have full access to his team page

3.PASSWORD & LOGIN

 

Once your email has been registered onto the website, at the top of this  page, above the various coloured bar, you will see "Forgotten Password", click on it. A new page will appear, enter your email address and click the submit button. The system will then send you a message to your email inbox, which will include a link. Open the email and click on this link and you will be taken to the password setup page. Enter your own password and then confirm it, click on submit and you will enter the site. After this first, time all you need to do is enter your email address in the username box and then your password and hit your return button

For team managers only (To start to enter you players details, follow the "SIMPLE GUIDE TO PLAYER REGISTRATION" which is published in the "Content" box on the left of this page.) PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS YET, UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO.

If you can't login as the system says email not known, you must have given us the wrong email address for you. In this case contact me by email, kdipalma@sky.com and I will get it amended,

4SIMPLE GUIDE TO PLAYER REGISTRATION

 

Once you have sucessfully logged onto the site, (only people with logins of Team Manager or higher can input player info.),

You must be looking at the "Echo" welcome page

Click on your club
Click on the team
Click on "Player Records"
On the new page, click on "add new player", (needed for every player), fill in all the details inc. at least one parent details. (the system needs all the info)

Once done (on each player) look on "Player Card", click on "Print player registration form" (this will show in blue, if you have entered the required info), this will print the form you have to stick one photo to, and along with the filled in Reg card, with the second photo affixed, you take to your Reg/ Fix Officer, along with proof of D.O.B..

ALL SIGNATURES REQUIRED BY THE FORM, MUST BE FILLED IN, (thats player, parent/guardian, club sec) AND THE CLUB SECRETARY MUST SIGN THE PLAYERS REG. CARD ON THE BACK.

5 PLAYER MIGRATE GUIDE

The guide has been published in the "Forms and Documents" and is only available for people with Team Manager or above, permissions. It has also be published in PDF format.

6. PLAYER TRANSFER GUIDE

 

If a player requires a transfer, the new club downloads and prints off, the "Transfer Form" which is published in the "Forms & Documents" section.

The form is then fully filled in (all sections) and along with a new player card (Photo attached), £10 fee, and the players original player card, taken to the relevant Div. Off..

NO MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE BY THE CLUB UNTIL CONTACTED BY THE RELEVANT Div. Off...

THE NEW CLUB DOES NOT ENTER THE PLAYERS DETAILS AS THEY WILL BE ON THE SITE ALREADY

Seven (7) days after receipt of the above, the relevant Div. Off electronically transfers the player to his new club, and dates and signs the new player card. The club can then collect the card. 

7. UNABLE TO RECEIVE EMAILS FROM OKS

 

If anybody is having trouble receiving email messages generated from the league website, it may be due to your email server blocking or junking messages from OKS. Follow the instructions below.

 What must I do if I don't receive league emails?

Email providers like AOL, Yahoo!, Hotmail, and others are constantly changing the way they classify the email they deliver to your computer.

The league system delivers email to all accounts the same way, and the vast majority of users receive the emails to their inbox.

Some email providers filter messages based on content, subject line, or the From address and may put your email into the recipient's bulk mail or Spam folder.

In order to receive league mail you may need to add our domain (ourkidssports.com) to your Approved Sender list (also known as white list).

For email service providers that do not offer Approved Sender lists or white lists, we recommend that you contact your email provider and request that mail from the ourkidssports.com domain be permitted.

The following instructions can be used to set your email software up to receive emails from the league.

 

AOL Users: 

If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of signing up, please check yourSpam folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered there by mistake.

If so, select the confirmation message and click This is Not Spam, to allow future league messages to be delivered. 

We strongly recommend that you do the following to avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:

1.    Click Settings in the tool bar at the top of your AOL window.

2.    Click Spam Controls in the left hand menu.

3.    In the Spam filters by address field select Custom fro the drop down list.

4.    Select the Allow email from radio button.

5.    In the type this: ourkidssports.com

6.    Click the add button (green plus sign).

7.    Click the Back to email button and the OK button when prompted to save settings.


Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.

 

Hotmail: 

If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of signing up, please check yourJunk E-mail folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered there by mistake.

If so, select the confirmation message and click Not Junk, to allow future league messages to be delivered.

We strongly recommend that you do the following to avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:

1.    Click Options (next to the Help link).

2.    Click Junk E-Mail Protection.

3.    Click Safe and blocked senders.

4.    Click Safe senders.

5.    Enter this domain:ourkidssports.com

6.    Click the Add to list button to complete the process.

Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.

 

Yahoo:


If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of signing up, please check yourBulk Mail folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered there by mistake.

If so, select the confirmation message and click Not Spam, to allow future league messages to be delivered. 

Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.

 

Gmail: 

If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of signing up, please check yourSpam folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered there by mistake.

If so, select the confirmation message and click Not Spam, to allow future league messages to be delivered. 

Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.

 

Outlook 2003:

1.    Select Actions from the top menu bar.

2.    Select Junk E-mail followed by Junk E-mail Options.

3.    Select Safe Senders, then select Add.

4.    Type ourkidssports.com and click OK.

5.    Click Apply and OK to complete the process.

Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.

 

All Other Email Software: 

If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of signing up, please check yourSpam or Bulk E-Mail folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered there by mistake.

If so, select the confirmation message and mark it Not Spam or Not Junk (Thunderbird), to allow future league messages to be delivered. 

Do not forget to click the link in the confirmation message, otherwise you will not receive any league emails.
