Winwick Athletic FC U16s moving up to U17s

Our U16s team are currently looking for new players to come along at a very exciting time for the Club. We have just entered an agreement with Culcheth Sports Club to use their fantastic quality pitches for our U17s team.

So, if you want to enjoy playing on superb pitches at Culcheth Sports Club (The Daten) next season and also want an opportunity to move onwards into U18s and then possibly Adult Teams at The Daten after that, then why not come along to one of our training sessions on a Tuesday evening, at Myddleton Lane, Winwick (6.30pm to 7.30pm starting again from Tuesday 23rd June to the end of August 2009).

We are looking for players who want to train with our existing players, who are fully committed, turn up to training every week unless ill, and want to play for each other. Two strikers and two central defenders would be great assets for our current squad and we are looking for a final squad size of around 14 or 15 players.

In return for your loyalty you will get commitment from your Team Manager, Paul McMahon, and our new Coach, Martin Ince.
