New Match Card Procedure

The new 'Match Card' facility has now 'gone live' on OKS. Below is the procedure you have to follow for printing off your match card, what to do at the match (before, during & after) & finally what to do when you get home to submit your results, etc on OKS.

1. Before you leave home

a) In the fixture chosen, Click on your matches “Full Details” tab

b) Select option to “Print Team Match Card”

c) Print the Team and Match Card Sheet (PLEASE NOTE IT WILL ONLY HAVE ON THE MATCH CARD SHEET PLAYERS THAT HAVE HAD THEIR REGISTRATIONS APPROVED BY THE REGISTRATION SECRETARY. HOWEVER A PLAYER IS NOT REGISTERED UNTIL THE CLUB HAS THE PLAYER'S ID CARD IN IT'S POSSESSION. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PLAYER'S ID CARD THEN HE IS NOT REGISTERED AND CAN NOT PLAY IN THE MATCH IRRESPECTIVE OF HIM BEING ON THE MATCH CARD SHEET. ANY PLAYERS YOU HAVE PENDING REGISTRATION APPROVAL WILL NOT BE ON THE MATCH CARD SHEET & CAN NOT PLAY IN THE MATCH).

d) Take printed sheet to match

PS. Don’t forget your ID cards

2. At the ground, before the match

a) Enter the players unique shirt numbers on to the “Team and Match Card Sheet”

b) Tick box for each player who starts the match as a substitute

c) Greet/meet your opposition manager and exchange “Team and Match Card Sheet” along with your “Player ID Cards”

d) When player ID checks are completed, initial each “ID Card Checked” box

e) Both “Team and Match Card Sheets” are then passed to the referee/match official

3. At the ground, after the match

a) Both managers and the match official reconvene to complete the “Team and Match Card Sheet”

Home team score

Away team score

Home team signature

Away team signature

Referees signature

b) Each team manager then retains their own completed “Team and Match Card Sheet”

4. When you get home

a) Tick the box on the match results page to signify that you were happy that all the administration checks were completed satisfactorily. Choose Y/N, but force them to choose.

b) Enter the result of your match as normal, including your fair play awards and referees score

c) Indicate whether you were happy with the administration checks using the new box provided

d) Retain your “Team and Match Card Sheet” for potential future reference and/or requirement by the league management committee

5. Notes for referee

a) Once the teams have completed the shirt number, indentified their substitutes by ticking the relevant boxes and initialled the ID card checked boxes on the “Team and Match Card Sheet”, both home and away sheets should be retained until the final whistle.

b) The referee and both team managers reconvene to complete both “Team and Match Card Sheet

I hope this all makes sense. If not please let me know.

Regards,

Ian Wells
