Havering Atte Bower Football Club were founded in 2006 and currently have 2 teams playing in the Echo Junior Football League (Under 11 & Under 10).
The club pride itself on the fact that we acheived a high rating in the Echo League Fair Play & Sportsmanship tables last season with our players being voted as the 2nd best club in terms of player sportsmanship.
As a club we try to provide a friendly and fun atmosphere for the kids to develop their individual ability and consider a childs safety and enjoyment to be more important than any results. We have an inclusion policy where any child participating for a team will get at least a certain amount of playing time (time will vary dependant on game format) as our belief is that No-one ever improved by sitting on the bench.
All Managers and Coaches are either FA qualified or in the process of becomming FA qualified and all have had enhanced CRB checks carried out successfully. We also ask that any adult who wishes to help out in any capacity (that involves direct contact with the children) also have CRB checks carried out.
We also try to make parents and family members feel like they are part of the club and hold various social functions over the course of the season in our aim to acheive this.
We have recently had a reshuffle at Committe level and hope that the added experience that has been bought in will be of benefit to everyone associated with the club.
