Appleton Boys AFC has been running for over 30 years and was established in the season of 1973-74. For the 2008/09 season, we have 22 teams spanning 12 age groups from under 8’s to under 17’s, plus a training academy for the U6’s and U7’s. We typically (but not exclusively) take children from the following Primary schools. Stockton Heath, Stretton St. Matthews, St. Thomas’, Grappenhall Heys, St. Wilfrids, Appleton Thorn, St. Monicas, Broomfields Junior, plus local private schools such as Cransley and The Grange.

The club has recently been awarded the prestigious FA Charter Standard Club status and every coach currently has, or is training towards the FA's Level 1 coaching accreditation.

Appleton Boys plays on three pitches close to the Pavilion at Pewterspear and a map of our locations can be seen by clicking on the "Venues" tab on the left hand menu.
