Westerham Junior Football Club provides football coaching and matches for 5-18 year olds and runs 26 League teams and 2 Colts teams in 2019-2020. WJFC is affiliated to the Kent County FA and to Westerham Sports Association (WSA), a private members club, which is based at King George’s Playing Fields. We are fortunate to enjoy fantastic playing facilities as well as the use of a clubhouse and our own floodlit training.

The Club was officially formed in 2007 after previously being the Junior section for many years at Westerham Football Club which dates back to 1888. The Junior Club has thrived in the last few years and the commitment and passion of local volunteers has unified the Westerham and district community and grown the playing membership from 40 to over 300 and the Club has been successful in forging links with local schools and other community groups.

The season 2006/2007 saw Westerham Junior Football Club achieve FA Charter Standard status. The Charter Standard Scheme is the best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it improves the playing experience for all.

Over 95% of the volunteer coaches have official FA qualification coaching badges (over 35 of them) and most have voluntarily undergone First Aid and Safeguarding Children courses. In June 2014 the Club was the proud recipient of the Tandridge Youth Football League Club Sportsmanship Award for an unprecedented fourth successive year and our nine team awards took our total to 39 in just nine seasons!
