Keston FC was started in 1996 by Kerry Jackson as a direct result from her time as a Beaver Scout Leader. The club started with one team of six year olds and has grown from that tiny acorn into the large oak that we know today, with around one hundred members of both sexes and varying in age from seven up to sixteen years old. Our matches are played on Sunday's at Hayes FC ground, Barnet Wood Road, BR2 7AB and all teams play in the Tandridge League.
During the season, we train on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm at the all-weather, floodlit facilities at Charles Darwin School Leisure Centre, Jail Lane, Biggin Hill, where we employ professional coaches to help coach the players together with the Club's own coaches, who are all themselves quaified FA coaches at varying levels. Many Saturday mornings and late Spring/Summer evenings see 'The Green' in Oakley Road come alive with often impromptu training sessions/matches to meet the almost insatiable demand for football from the players! Our junior teams (U13's and U11's) train at The Green every Saturday morning.
We currently have teams playing at U11's, U13's, U14's and U15's, and are always willing to make new contacts with a view to possibly recruiting new players and even new coaches or managers at different age levels.
