WINNERS OF THE TANDRIDGE LEAGUE SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD 2008/09

Darwin FC are a Charter Standard Development Club affiliated to the Kent FA with eleven boys teams playing in the Tandridge League and one girls team playing in the Selkent League. Our coaches are FA level 1 and 2 qualified. We offer a safe environment for children and our coaches are all FA Enhanced CRB checked.

We are in partnership with Bromley Mytime www.bromleymytime.org.uk and Charles Darwin School www.cdarwin.com . This partnership will put in a bid to the Football Foundation to improve facilities for the School and for Darwin FC by way of club house, changing facilities and G3 all weather pitch. It is hoped that we will have a 25 years lease for this facility, which will be the best facility on offer in the immediate vacinity.Our mini soccer teams and 9v9 teams play from Charles Darwin School and our full sided teams play from Biggin Hill Recreation Ground, our thanks go to Biggin Hill FC for making this possible.

NEW TO DARWIN FC:

1. Under 5/6 Soccer Academy (Reception Year/Year 1)

2. The Under 6 Progression Soccer Academy (Year 1)

Both Academies will train between 5pm and 6pm on wednesday evenings throughout the year including holidays.

Darwin FC have teamed up with The Mike Delaney Skills Academy www.mikedelaneysoccer.com we hope that this will benefit all the children involved. This move can only mean that we are providing better quality football for the children, if the weather is bad through the winter we have the option to take the little ones indoors to the Main Sports Hall. 5-6pm Under 5/6  - We hope to introduce football and its skills to this age group as well as providing fun. It is hoped that a team will be formed to enter the Tandridge League in season 2009/10. (See Above Details).
