The club was formed in 2007/08 with two teams as A.S. [All Stars] South London. The two teams won two trophies and one runners-up spot between them in their first season. In 2008/09 we had 4 teams with one divisional winner, two third place finishes, our U7s being one of the best teams in the League and our U17s reaching the London Cup Final. Several of our players left mid-season to sign for Academies in 2008/09 with two more joining academies this season and one boy signing a 2 year Scholar deal with Aston Villa. Good luck to them all and welcome to the new boys who have taken their places.
This season our U8s and U12s are continuations of our teams from last season. Our U11s is largely a new team and the U10s and U13s are entirely new teams.
We really enjoyed last season and look forward to more positive matches ans experiences for our boys this season. Many thanks to all our opponents last season.
Following local rivals United Allstars FC folding in July 2008, we are grateful to www.Silverfish.TV allowing us to effectively take over the sponsorship deal that Silverfish had with United Allstars FC. We are using the United Allstars branding and website developed by Silverfish for purposes of marketing what we are doing. We are in the process of drafting new text for the site as the text is currently years out of date!
As well as football, we run Sports Leaders Awards and FA Level 1 coaching awards for young people wishing to develop a voluntary or paid career in sports coaching. We have been supported by Choice FM and V volunteering charity in relation to this.
