INFORMATION

Warrington Town are a Charter Standard Club. They are now amongst the biggest Cubs in the Warrington junior Football League.

This  award, confirms that EVERY age group is looked after by Qualified Coaches, who have attended Safeguarding courses, and have had CRB checks. There is a a 1st Aider with every team.

We are now recruiting young footballers for the 2015/2016 seasons at Under 7 Level (born between 1st September 2008 & 31st August 2009. These will be Children in School Year 1 (2 next year)

Training for our next year Under 7's has already commenced.

Please contact Carl McKiernan on 07894 066455  for details.

"Junior Wires" for 5 year old's has also takes place on the same day.

Here at Warrington, we pride ourselves on giving young children of all ages a good grounding into the world of football.

Paul Anderson is The Junior Football Development Officer for the Club, he is a Licensed Football Association Coach, and oversees all aspects of Mini Football.

For any information on any of this, ring Paul on 07979 865388.

Alternatively click the link for your child's age group for specific team coach contacts.

Jayne Jones is the appointed Club Welfare Officer.

Our Qualified coaches spend time with the children, and hopefully this pays off with the end product of children who love football and want to be involved in their team.

Our Coaching is aimed at developing the technical ability of all our players, whilst still allowing them to enjoy their football. Training is full, varied and above all enjoyable.

We do not operate, as some clubs do, “a closed shop”, a “waiting list” or any form of “elitist policy”. Players are never turned away because they are not good enough. All registered players will get “game time” regardless of ability.

It is always a great reward to a Coach to see the development of a child who starts with little skill, to blossom into a good young footballer.

Warrington Town teams are amongst the best turned out children in the town, and we have a policy of re-investing all the money taken in subscriptions* (see "How much will this cost?"), sponsorship and donations, back into the playing side of our organisation.

We believe that it is important for every child to operate with a football at training. The right size football: Size 3 for Under 9’s and below, Size 4 for Under 10’s - 14's. Size 5 for 15 - 17's.

All our twenty-seven teams play in the Warrington Junior Football League, and provide organised football during the season, every Saturday morning for 13's & below, Sunday mornings for 14's & above.

All games will be non-competitive until Under 13 Football.

This means that the kids play to enjoy themselves. There are no league tables and no results published. This is fully in accordance with Football Association (FA) guidelines.

Warrington Town last season won 6 Sporting awards from the Warrington Junior League, for the behaviour of their Coaches, Players and Spectators, as voted by the opposition on a weekly basis.

If this sounds like the Club you would like your Child playing for, make that call.
