LATEST NEWS:

We now have a Pitch information phone service for Albert Fellowes Park and Liverpool County FA pitches. Pitch inspections will be held at 5pm on Fridays, and we will then update the service. Anyone can call this information line on 0151 519 0994. When you call, you will be told the date and time the update was recorded. We hope you find this a helpful way of keeping you informed.

Formed in 1976, Rainhill United JFC were awarded the Liverpool FA and North West Regional winner of the Charter Standard Development Club of the Year for the 2014/15 season.  We continue to take steps to further enhance our reputation both on and off the pitch.

The 2018/19 season will see Rainhill United field 23 boys teams ranging from Under 7’s through to our Under 16’s teams, all of which are playing in the Warrington League. In 2012/13 our mini soccer teams joined up with our 11 a-side teams who have been in the Warrington League since 2009/10 season.

The 2018/19 Season also sees our 6 girls teams compete in the Liverpool FA Open Age & Girls League (U10/U11/U12/U14 & U16)

We continue run separate boys and girls (Wikdcats) Training Academies on Saturday mornings for children who are in Reception and Year 1 at school (girls specifically aimed for those between 4 to 11).  Training for both academies is on the 3G at Rainhill High School starting at 11am.  We have successfully introduced a new SSE Wildcats Centre which is providing girls their first experience of football.

Rainhill United are proud to have links with the local schools in Rainhill –  St Ann’s, St Bartholomew’s, Oakdene and Rainhill High School. A substantial number of the players at Rainhill United are from these schools.  We also continue to attract a number of children from other schools outside of the immediate Rainhill area.

Such has been the growth in the club in terms of popularity, we have extended from our base at Albert Fellowes Park to utilise pitches at Rainhill High and all of our teams now train throughout the year on the state of the art 3G pitch at Rainhill High School during the week.  We also use this for our academies and specialist club goalkeeper training sessions.
