Warrington Junior Football League Message: Will all clubs be aware that from the weekend of November 4th/5th, any games that are subject to a Match Day Standards visit and do not have the correct roping, corner flags, nets and the correct number of officials in front of the ropes will be subject to a fine of 30 per offence. Grass pitches require roping on both sides of the pitch, corner flag to corner flag and not trailing on the grass, flags on the corner flag posts, only two officials in front of the rope, one of whom must act as the linesman and goals that are the correct size, secured for safety with the nets also securely fastened. For 3G and 4G facilities the same applies for the corner flags, the two officials rule, goals and nets. Further instructions re security for spectators and substitutes will be given asap.
Warrington Junior Football League Message: The drop down box for referees performance comments is now available permanently. Please give an accurate assessment of your referee's performance based on the scoring maitrix on the Aide Memoire, which has been taken from the official FA Guidelines and can be found towards the end of the WJFL By Laws document, under Forms and Documents. PLEASE ASK YOURSELF! Was my referee correct with every single decision they made? IF NOT, you should not be awarding a mark of 100.
Warrington Junior Football League Message: Please remember! Sunday 7pm is the cut off date and time to have the following weekends fixtures venues and ko times on OKS. This deadline applies to both Saturday and Sunday fixtures. A 10 fine will be issued for any fixture that is not allocated in time.

Welcome to our club

 

Our Club, (which is a Charter Standard Community club) is based in Wigan and is the Wigan Athletic link club. We are the largest junior football club in our area, providing football for children with a wide range of abilities We have forged strong links with both our local schools, (where some of our coaches assist in running the school teams) and our local community organisations. We are a registered Charity and sponsored by Nike.

Our club home is Laithwaite park, scott lane, wigan, WN5 0UT, which we are currently renovating.

Our  teams play in the Warrington league, Salford League, Wigan and district League , St Helens, Bolton and Bury and the Skelmersdale league. We currently have 35 teams ranging from under 7's to Under 16's including two Girls teams. All our mangers are CRB checked and our large number of coaches qualified at Level 1 to Uefa B License.
