ALL WE ARE ASKING IS YOU ALL FOLLOW THE FA RESPECT CODE. SADLY A HANDFUL OF COACHES , PLAYERS AND PARENTS ARE NOT DOING SO. THREE TEAMS WERE KICKED OUT OF THE WJFL LAST SEASON! LET'S HOPE THIS POOR BEHAVIOUR STOPS NOW AND WE DO NOT HAVE TO KICK ANY TEAMS OUT THIS SEASON

Penlake Juniors were formed in 1971 by Mr Chris Duffy & Mr Eddie Guinness.

The Name Penlake stems from the old British Rail Club in Sutton Junction which was in fact situated on the Penlake trading estate.

We play our home matches on Beeches Playing fields in Sutton Road St.Helens. WA9 3DU

The club host over 20 teams ranging from U7's to Open Age.
We also have an under 7's Academy and have recently formed several girls teams .

The Highlight for Penlake Juniors came in 1986 when one of our teams gained entry into the "GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS" by achieving the longest undefeated run of 153 games between 1981 & 1986 If you log on to our website www.penlakejuniors.org you can see the full details
 

Club Honours
Over the past 45 years the club has won numerous trophies playing in leagues in Warrington, St Helens, South Lancashire, Rainhill & Wigan in age groups ranging from Under 10’s to Open Age.

LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS - 44 times champions 23 times runners up.
CHALLENGE CUP -33 times winners 11 times runners up.
AUXILIARY CUP (WARRINGTON) - 6 times winners 1 runner up.
SPRING CUP (ST HELENS OR RAINHILL)- 4 times winners 3 runners up.
DIVISIONAL CUP (WIGAN & SOUTH LANCS)- 2 times winners 3 runners up.
LANCASHIRE CUP- 3 times Winners, once runner up.

Additional honour for Guinness Book Of Record Holders Longest Unbeaten Run. As this record still stands this makes Penlake Juniors the Team of the Millennium.
