The club was formed in 1981 meaning that we have had over 25 years in local football. Over the years we are pleased to have had a degree of success with the 1980's and early 199o's being the  highlight of our short history. Over the years there have been many changes to the club, when it was first formed it was only for boys, then we formed a girls team and then a senior team. Hence the change from Ekco Whitecaps BFC to Ekco Whitecaps Football Club. This should mean we will be serving the local community in sport for a long time in the forseeable future.
