Berkeley Bombers YFC is an independant club running one youth football team. Established in the year 2000, and was originally made up of pupils from the Berkeley Primary School in Wistatston, hence the club name. The club started competitive football in the 6-a-side Alex Soccer Centre Sunday tournament and has subsequently progreesed through the ages groups and in our eigth season 2008/09 we are now entering the Under 14 Age Group of the South Cheshire Youth League.
The club has won trophies in the Alex Soccer Centre leagues and has picked up the Fair Play Trophy at Under 11 Age Group with the SCYL, and in the summer of 2008 we won the Audlem Saints 5-a-side tournament.
We operate the club to promote fun and enjoyment for the ladz playing with the squad, whilst at the same time look to develop young players to improve their game and in some instances move on to a higher standard of football. During our existance it is estimated approximately 50 ladz have enjoyed football as part of teams or training with Berkeley Bombers YFC.
