    Wistaston Athletic, formerly known as Crewe Shooters, was formed in 2000 playing
    mini-soccer at the Alex Soccer Centre. The Club's home ground became the Eric Swan
    Sports Ground in the summer of 2005.
    This year, The Club has grown from a single team to four teams, competing from
    U14 through to U16. The ethos of The Club has been to 'play football
    the right way, no matter what the result'. Consequently, the current U16s received the Fair
    Play Award two years running in 2004 and 2005. An application is currently being submitted
    for FA Charter Standard Status.
