Culcheth JFC Profile

Welcome to Culcheth Athletic Football Club

The club was formed in 1993 to give local children the opportunity to play football. Since then we have consistently increased in size over the years and currently have 23 teams playing in the Warrington Junior League from under 7's to under 17's, with over 350 players registered with the league and many more training with the club including an Under 6's Academy.

We have almost 50 coaches working with our teams all of whom are FA Level 1 trained or higher with Emergency First Aid Certificates and Child Welfare Training. All Managers and Coaches are CRC checked, almost all coaches are parents of players and all club roles are purely voluntary.

We are a Chartered Standard Development club and accept children from 4 years of age who train with our academy coaches.

Culcheth Athletic play in vertical black/red striped shirts with black shorts and are affiliated to the Lancashire FA.

Our main Club pitches are at The Oaks playing fields off Warrington Road, Culcheth, WA3 6BN where we have 4 small sided pitches and 4 full size 11a-side pitches. There is ample parking on site. On match days there is the facility to purchase light refreshments such as teas, coffees, bacon sandwiches etc. There are on site changing rooms and also toilet facilities.

We do occasionally utilise other pitches in the area such as Culcheth High School, Newchurch Primary School, and more recently Glazebury Primary School. We are very grateful to the schools for allowing us to use their facilities.

The club has many sponsors who kindly provide kit and equipment for our teams and as we are purely non profit making we welcome any approach from new sponsors who are keen to get involved with us.
