Welcome to Culcheth Athletic Junior Football Club
The club was formed in 1993 in order to give local children the opportunity to play football.
We have increased in size over the years and now have 21 teams playing in the Warrington Junior League from under 7's to under 16's with almost 280 players registered with the league and many more training with the club which includes our recently introduced academy.
We have almost 50 coaches working with our teams all of whom are level 1 trained or higher and are CRB checked, almost all coaches are parents of players and all club roles are purely voluntary but very rewarding.
We now accept children from 4 years of age who train with our academy coaches.

Culcheth Athletic play in vertical black/red striped shirts with black shorts and are affiliated to the Lancashire FA. We utilise pitches at Culcheth Sports Club with whom we have very close links and Shaw Street recreation area. We also use pitches at Culcheth High School, Culcheth Primary School, Newchurch Primary School and more recently Glazebury Primary School. We are very grateful to the primary schools for allowing us to use their facilities.
The club has many sponsors who kindly provide kit and equipment for our teams and as we are purely non profit making we welcome any approach from new sponsors who are keen to get involved with us.
The Future
Culcheth Athletic's future is bright, we have just been granted planning permission for new purpose built facilities just off Warrington Road near to Taylor Business Park. The new facilities will include 3 full sized pitches and 4 small sided, also changing rooms and storage facilities. This will bring the club together in a way that has not been possible previously but we hope to maintain our links with the schools and local community.
We are striving to achieve Charter Standard status within the next 12 months and are improving the club in many ways.
